What is the recovery like, after a breast lift?
After a breast lift, you will experience some swelling and bruising. Although some discomfort is normal during the first week or two, you should not be in significant pain. Dr. Golshani and his team will give you detailed instructions about how to best manage your breast lift recovery. To aid in your healing process, as well as reduce swelling, we will ask you to wear a surgical bra during the initial recovery phase. You will then be asked to wear a sports bra for several more weeks. In addition to avoiding strenuous activity, you will not be able to sleep on your stomach for the initial few weeks of breast lift recovery.
Does a breast lift leave scars?
While you will have visible scars during the first few months after breast lift surgery, many of our patients find that their scars fade until they are virtually unnoticeable.
