If you are unsatisfied with how large your breasts are then breast reduction can be your answer. Large breasts can cause a number of unwanted problems including back pain, neck pain, lack of motivation to exercise, and weird stares from others. You deserve better. You can stop the discomfort now by contacting Dr. Golshani who can help you restore your confidence.
- Are you suffering from pain as a direct result of your breasts? (i.e. back & neck pain)
- Are you bothered by unwanted looks from strangers?
- Are your breasts too large in proportion to your body?
- Do you feel emotionally drained as a result of your breast size?
- Is dieting and exercise not helping?
If you have answered “yes” to any of these questions, then I’m here to tell you that a breast reduction is the cure you’ve been looking for. I have already transformed many others with the same problems and I would love to do the same for you.
A breast reduction is a cosmetic procedure that involves the removal of any excess fat, skin, and tissue of the breasts. A breast reduction can reduce the size of breasts and immediately ease any of the symptoms that are commonly associated with large, heavy breasts. The symptoms are bad enough to be covered by most insurance providers.
Breast reduction is a procedure that has an ability to dramatically improve your quality of life. It is one of the most highly recommended plastic & reconstructive procedures because of the significant positive effect it has on those who undergo it.
You are a good candidate for breast reduction if:
- Your breasts are too large in proportion to their body frame.
- One breast is larger than the other (a whole cup larger).
- Your breasts are causing you debilitating or bothersome pain (i.e. back, neck, or shoulder).
- You have heavy breasts with nipples and areolas that point downward.
- You have skin irritation present below your breasts.
- The bras you wear leave indentations in your shoulders.
- You feel restricted during sports or other physical activities.
Real Case Studies of My Own Patients
Words can only do so much when it comes to life-changing results. However, I’d like to show you a couple of cases of my own patients who cannot be happier with their results.
This patient came to my office for a free consultation because she was tired of the way she felt about her abnormally large breasts that were not proportionate with her body. She mentioned receiving unwanted looks from people, as well as feeling insecure about certain clothing options including bikinis. She wanted to change this. She underwent breast reduction surgery in my office and it changed her life. She is a much more confident about everything she does. She still thanks me today.
This patient came into my office complaining of common culprits of large breasts: back pain, shoulder pain, and neck pain. She knew what was causing it but was unsure of following through with her gut feeling. After reading everything online she felt secure about her decision and scheduled a consult. I performed the procedure for her and she has been pain free for a couple of years now. Truly life-changing.
Breast Reduction Is OFTEN Covered By Insurance!
Breast reduction used to be considered a “cosmetic” procedure and therefore would be void of any insurance coverage. However, the medical evidence that exists today has changed this notion and most insurance companies are now very accommodating in covering the entire surgery – leaving you with only a co-payment or deductible. However, you must meet their specific criteria.
Specific Criteria for Breast Reduction Coverage Through Insurance
This list will vary depending on your specific insurance provider, but may include:
- A bra cup size of generally C cup or larger
- Your body weight and/or BMI
- Physical signs are present such as shoulder grooving, skin problems, breast deformity or asymmetry.
- Other documentation of nonsurgical treatment failure such as supportive bras, weight loss, and medications.
- Your percentile on the Schnur scale
To request approval of the coverage, Dr. Golshani will write a letter to your insurance provider with the details gathered during your consultation. You will also have photographs taken of your breasts during the consultation and all the supporting documentation will be send to your insurance provider for support for your case.
Bring These Items with You to Your Consultation
If you believe you’re a good candidate for a breast reduction (link if possible), then we strongly urge you to bring these items along to your consultation with Dr. Golshani.
- 1. Insurance card
- 2. Valid driver’s license or photo ID
- 3. Pre-authorization or letter of referral from primary treating physician
- 4. Evidence of previous care such as weight loss or physical therapy
Are there any visible scars from breast reduction?
Scars are to be expected from any plastic & reconstructive procedure, but most scarring improves dramatically with time – as early as one year. Because of the technique I use, scars are minimal and patients are often very pleased with their breast reduction results.
How long does it take to recover after breast reduction?
Swelling will occur for weeks following your procedure, but patients can expect to see final results anywhere between 6 and 12 months of time. Expect larger breasts than normal for the first few weeks after surgery.
Will I lose sensation in my nipples or ability to breast-feed?
A very large majority of my patients have maintained their capacity to breast-feed and retain sensation in the nipples due to the specialized surgical technique I perform during the procedure.
I could not recommend him highly enough
After years of unhappiness and unwanted attention from the size of my chest, it was time to do something. The best plastic surgeon! I could not recommend him highly enough.
My results are beyond what I expected.
We all struggle with imperfections, but when it consumes your life, it needs to be addressed. I was unable to participate in activities with my children, like tag and skipping rope, or take care of myself by working out due to due to the huge weight I carried on my chest. Yes, the boobies were too large for normal function. They were creating issues with my back and neck that stopped me from being myself.
I asked my chiropractor if he could recommend a doctor that could alleviate my problem. He gave me Dr. Golshani's name, and he had nothing but praise to say about this doctor. In fact, he said if he had to send his wife to anyone for plastic surgery it would only be Dr. Golshani. After doing my own research, I made my appointment with Dr. Golshani. I felt comfortable with the doctor and his staff. However, for my own reasons, thinking I could live with the problem, I did not schedule the surgery. Almost a year later, I had enough. I called and scheduled. I only wished I would have done it sooner!
Dr. Golshani talked me through all the steps of why, how, and what would be the best options for me. He was always patient, kind, and most importantly, honest about what I could expect from this surgery.
The only downside to this process was the hospital canceled my surgery date. I was very upset as I had planned around this date. As it turns out, it was for the best. Because of the cancellation, I decided to have the procedure done at Avosant Surgical Center (Dr. Golshani's own hospital in his building) after talking with Crystal about the hospital screw up. She advised me that their office had complete control over their surgical center whereas I would be at the complete mercy of the hospital for all the decision from schedule time/changes to billing. At Avosant, Dr. Golshani hand picks everyone you come in contact with: anesthesiologist and nurses. The personal care you get is unbelievable. It is one on one with the main goal of making you as comfortable as possible. After surgery, I did not feel sick or groggy. My sister, who works in the medical field, came with me and watched over me from pre to post opt, and she was very impressed with the staff and Dr. Golshani's bedside manner.
The office staff was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. I would give myself plenty of drive time to get down to Dr. Golshani's, and sometimes I would arrive earlier than expected, sometimes not; I was always taken in promptly regardless of when I got there. My results are beyond what I expected. I am over the moon with the way I feel and look. I would recommend and HAVE recommended Dr. Golshani; he is an excellent doctor.
Truly an Amazing Surgeon
Dr. Golshani is truly an amazing surgeon. I had both a breast reduction and tummy tuck with him after having had 3 children. My body had not come back to the small size I was before having children... Then I worked with Dr. Golshani and I have been transformed into my probably self. I have lost over 30 lbs since my 2 surgeries. My breasts are beautiful and so is my tummy. I had a lipoma under my breast that needed to be removed which is why I went to see him in the first place. The weight of my breasts were pushing my bra into my skin, creating the lipoma... So I knew I had to not only remove the lipoma but reduce my size H breasts. I am now a D. I am now a size 4-6. I was a 12-14. Without Dr. Golshani I would still be suffering at 178 lbs with my breasts and stomach hanging off me. My skeletal structure has been restored to an upright position. While in between breast reduction and tummy tuck I changed my diet to no sugar, carbs or dairy. I took charge of the part of my healing that could and Dr. Golshani did the rest. He is a sensitive gifted surgeon and I would highly recommend him! One more thing... His staff is wonderful!
