What is the recovery like, after a breast lift?

Dr. Golshani and his team will give you detailed instructions about how to best manage your breast lift recovery. To aid in your healing process, as well as reduce swelling, we will ask you to wear a surgical bra during the initial recovery phase. You will then be asked to wear a sports bra for several more weeks. In addition to avoiding strenuous activity, you will not be able to sleep on your stomach for the initial few weeks of breast lift recovery.
Does a breast lift leave scars?
While you will have visible scars during the first few months after breast lift surgery, many of our patients find that their scars fade until they are virtually unnoticeable. Understanding that the scars may be somewhat visible, especially depending on skin color and genetics, the majority of our patients find their enhanced breast shape well outweighs any previous hesitations about scars. The scars will depend on the type of incisions Dr. Golshani makes, and he will discuss this with you in detail at your consultation.
